I was recently given the opportunity to review the Sandgrens Clogs. Although the product was supplied to me at no charge, all opinions are my own.
I was recently introduced to the Sandgrens clogs by a friend of mine. Another friend chimed in about her dislike of them. I had to educate the second friend about the benefits of wearing clogs.
I loved high heels back in the day. When I was younger and teaching, I wore dress suits and high heels to teach elementary school. I dressed that way to work in a lawyer’s office, too. Of course, that was before I had a baby, gained weight, developed fallen arches, and was later diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. UGH!
My body has been through the ringer. I wear custom orthotics to support my fallen arches and they typically only fit into my tennis shoes. Come summer, I have a few pair of flip flops and sandals that actually have real arches in them and can get away from my orthotics, but during the winter, it’s nearly always my tennis shoes. So, needless to say, that clogs are looking pretty stinking cute to me now in late spring!
Shoes and Swedish clogs like these are made to be worn for many, many years. That’s why they’re priced like they are. They’re generally made really well and in foreign countries where people actually walk!
I have a narrow foot, but with the collapsed arches my feet appear to be wide. I also have a very narrow heel, so clog style shoes are AWESOME for me all the way around. I received my Elsie clog in Mini flowers within just a few days of ordering them. They fit really well. To be honest, they’re a little loose, so my feet must be REALLY narrow! Not too loose, just enough room if my feet swell or anything. They’re advertised as a narrow fitting clog.

I received my Elsie clog in Mini flowers late one evening, but didn’t put them on until first thing the next morning. I was completely blown away with the immediate comfort they brought to me. I spent about ten hours gardening over the weekend prior to receiving the clogs. My back and knees were really been bothering. I wear a pair of Polyurethane Klogs for gardening. I thought they were giving me the needed support when I wasn’t wearing my custom orthotics. I was obviously very wrong!
As soon as I put my Sandrens Clogs on, my back and knee pain was INSTANTLY gone! To say I was shocked is putting it mildly!!! When I took them off, the pain was back. I hate to say it, but I did also feel like the beauty queen slipping on her pageant shoes. They made me feel so much taller, standing up straight, and girls out. 😉
As a retiree, I rarely put much effort into my wardrobe when making a trip to the store. However, I find myself trying to decide what I’m wearing when I go to Walmart. I want to make sure I’m totally color coordinated to rock my new comfort clogs!
To say I love my new Sandrens clogs is putting it mildly. I wear them every chance I get and almost always get compliments while wearing them.
