Animal Jam

Anmial Jam – an Online Virtual Playground

Animal Jam is an online virtual playground for children who love animals and the outdoors, and is the result of an ongoing creative collaboration between Smart Bomb Interactive and National Geographic Society. Our goal is to provide a fun, exciting, and safe environment for kids to play online, while inspiring them to explore and protect the natural world outside their doors.

  1. Click on the play now banner in the middle of the page to create an account and start playing for free!
  2. Select an animal.
  3. Give it a name.
  4. Provide user info – male/female, birthday, etc.
  5. Create username and password – Reminds kids NOT to use real names.
  6. Provide a parent’s email address.
  7. Agree to the Online Rules.

Select and name new animals, travel the world, learn new facts, adopt a pet, plus lots and lots of other fun, interactive adventures.  I personally enjoyed protecting my candy from the phantoms using my fire stick.

I suggest having the volume turned down low or having the kids use headphones while playing.  The game is full of lots of squeaky animalistic sounds that is sure to gain and keep the kids attention, but get on mom and dad’s nerves.  😉

I did notice there are optional items available for purchase coming to retailers such as Target and Walmart.  I played around for about 20 minutes, but never found anything that would require a purchase.  I can imagine a whole new line of stuff animals and accessories that will be gender neutral for the kids to want for Christmas!
