My friends over at Maple Leaf Mommy and Mom vs. the Boys have a new and fun meme that I’m going to try to take part in.

The goal of ABC Friday is to photo share with a challenge!  Each week is a new letter theme, starting with A of course, we will work our way through the alphabet.  I’m coming on board with the letter H.  I may go back and add the other letters later on.

Just post a picture with the letter theme for that week…. A is for Auto, B is for Beach, C is for Cake….get the idea?
This is not Wordless Wednesday, feel free to share in words what the photo is all about! or not, it’s up to you!

If you want to take part in ABC Friday they ask you to link back to the host page in your post so that your readers can easily find them!   Make sure to link up your post, not your homepage!

H is for…..

Photo ShareHair Dresser and Hair Color in my Home.  My daughter colors my hair for me here at home.  My daughter used to complain about all of the spots I would miss when I colored my hair.  With having MS affecting my shoulder and arms so much, it was a struggle to get it done at all.  So, when she complained, I told her that if she thought she could do it any better that she could do it herself.   Thankfully, she took me up on my offer and now she colors my hair for me.  She may go on to become a cosmetologist when she graduates high school in two years, so I figure this is good practice for her.

Last month, I discovered a fabulous deal at our local beauty school.  They offer 1/2 chemical services day, which meant that I could get my hair colored semi-professionally for $13 + my tip.  A really good bottle of hair color costs around $10, so I figured it was worth a shot.  The color came out very red compared to my natural hair color, which is so dark brown that it is nearly black.  The picture in the bottom left corner shows that contrast.  So, for now, I believe I will continue to use my Hair Dresser and Hair Color in my Home.  😀

Just in case you haven’t figured it out all ready, that’s my at home hairdresser in the top left picture.  😉

    • You never know! My uncle used to color and perm my aunt’s hair for her when her hands and shoulders made it too difficult! Maybe it’s time for Mom and the Girl vs. the Boys. 😉

  6. That’s awesome that your daughter helps out with coloring your hair. Maybe one day my little one will help me cover all the grey hair she is giving me!

    • Well, you know that I was a bit shocked with my ginger colored do a couple of months ago, so it doesn’t always go as planned. When you get as old as me, you might just be reaching for the color, too. 😉 I didn’t color mine for the first time until I turned 40 and pretty much was told to do it by everyone, including my dad!!! LOL

  9. My little ones inform me of my white hairs – when they get older I will let them know they were the cause of them! LOL
