Mr. Will Adventure
I have to laugh slightly when I read my online name of Mr. Will Adventure. My career is not an outdoors man, professional guide or mountaineer. However, as an outdoors enthusiast and average sportsman I think it allows me a unique perspective on what guys who work for a living and love the outdoors are looking for in products and life, guy stuff. After all just like Bill Engval says “Hey, I’m just a guy.”
More About Mr. Will Adventure
My love of backpacking, hiking, fishing, hunting, and nature goes back to my childhood. My Grandfather and dad were men who worked hard and loved to get out, gear up, and take on the challenges of the outdoors. I loved learning from them and inheriting their strength, commitment and integrity as outdoors men and leaders in their families. Whether it has been Backpacking Rocky Mountain National Park, the Grand Canyon, or Alaska’s Yukon Delta I love the challenges of taking on nature and the elements. Here in Missouri there is great hiking, backpacking, canoeing, and kayaking, as well as hunting, and fishing. Some of my other passions are knife collecting, shooting, and cooking over a camp fire.
Of course, electronics and technology are also interesting to me. Combine my love of the outdoors with some kind of electronic gadget or technology and I’m a happy camper.
I intend to share what I know. I hope to review products and share information that would help the guy who works hard and has a budget because he is a dedicated dad and loves the woman in his life.
I am a single dad of two wonderful daughters who have taught me a lot and have filled my life with an completely different kind of an adventure since they are in their late teens and early twenties. I am a full time counselor and volunteer youth leader who cares about people and loves to get out and be a guy in the great outdoors.
I hope that my contributions to this blog and the things that I learn will help readers enjoy life, love the ones they are closest to, and have fun being a guy.
Just a word to the ladies, one of the greatest gifts you can give your man is to enjoy the fact that he’s a guy. It makes him unique and there is a special strength that comes from us as men that cannot be found anywhere else in nature. It’s great being us and we love when the woman we love enjoys our masculine nature.
