Recently, I was selected to review one of the beautiful SUSU Handbags. It had been years since I’d had a real leather handbag and I instantly fell in love with the soft pebble leather. The beige color is rich and consistent across the entire bag. The pebble leather reflects the light in a way that it does give even beige a rich boldness.

I selected the SUSU Handbags Allen Pebble Leather Classic Tote Beige for my review. It’s almost like having two different bags in one. Depending on how I choose to zip or not the bag, I can have a more tapered A-line style bag or an expandable bag with more of a rectangular shape. The A-line style is the look I like most, but my purse usually overflows and the rectangle shape is what I’ll probably use most often. No matter which way I choose to use my bag, I love having the option of both styles.

The interior of the purse is lined with a black cotton material. At first, I wasn’t a fan of the black interior, I would have preferred beige to match the exterior. But, the more I thought about it the black makes sense, it will keep pen marks and other small scuffs from showing up on the inside of the bag.

No detail was overlooked. The cloth used for the zipper perfectly matches the color of the bag. The zipper teeth, zipper pulls, and the SUSU Handbags Logo are all done in a gold tone, tastefully complimenting the refined sophistication of the bag.

The SUSU Handbags Allen Pebble Leather Classic Tote Beige handles are covered with a non-pebble leather in a matching beige and oh, so supple in the hand. The handles are the perfect length to make carrying the bag in your hand or the crook of my arm. The size is perfect for a shorter woman like me, not too small and not too large. I’m busty and heavier set, so carrying it on my shoulder isn’t comfortable for me with this bag.
