On a Quest for a guiltless chocolate chip cookie? Look no further than Quest Nutrition’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar!  One of Quest’s best-selling flavors, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is not only delicious, but totally guilt-free!  With 21g of protein, 3g net carbs, high in fiber, no added sugars, and no gluten ingredients, you can enjoy the taste of chocolate chip cookie dough without the worry!

I usually stay far, far away from protein bars, but when given the opportunity to try the Quest Bar Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bars I jumped at the chance.  What made the difference?  The Quest Bars don’t contain soy as their main source of protein.  Soy is one of those things that sticks in the back of my throat and I just can’t swallow it.  With the Quest Bar using milk as a main source of protein, I don’t have the problem.

Ingredients of the Quest Bar Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bars:  Protein Blend (Whey Protein Isolate, Milk Protein Isolate), Isomalto-Oligosaccharides* (100% Natural Prebiotic Fiber), Almonds, Water, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Erythritol. Contains Less than 2% of the following: Salt, Sucralose, Stevia, Peanuts, Cashews, Milk, Natural Flavorings
The only thing in the ingredient list that I wasn’t really familiar with was the Isomalto-Oligosaccharides Prebiotic Fiber.  Isomalto-oligosaccharides are normal components of the human diet that occur naturally in a number of fermented foods, including rice miso, soy sauce, and sake.
As advertised on the Quest Protein Bar site:
For Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough we pushed our R&D team to make the most delicious protein bar possible. They succeeded! Made with chunks of real dark chocolate, this bar has the taste of real homemade cookie dough. And best of all, it has the most protein of any of our bars!
I can say that it does really look and taste a LOT like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.    While I’m not a huge fan of cookie dough, I do think it’s a great alternative .  I am also excited about the potential of using the Quest Bars in recipes.  I don’t know much about the whole Clean Eating movement, but it seems that the folks at Quest do.  They even have Clean Eating Recipes posted on their blog.
So, instead of reaching for a sugar filled cookie today, to celebrate National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day think wisely and try a Quest Bar Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar instead.  Your health may just thank you for it!
