MakeUp Eraser Removes Your Makeup with Just Water

Recently, I read an advertisement for a new product in one of my local Facebook groups.  It was for a product called MakeUp Eraser.  It caught my attention because the ad proclaimed it would remove your makeup without any type of soap or cleanser.  You only needed the MakeUp Eraser and water.

I found it hard to believe that some type of reusable rag, sponge, or whatever this MakeUp Eraser thing was could really remove all of your makeup using just water.  I contacted Drea, the distributor advertising this MakeUp Eraser.  She graciously sent a MakeUp Eraser to me to try out.

This is the description of the MakeUp Eraser

The Makeup Eraser is an all natural method of your removing makeup. No harsh chemicals needed, just wet the cloth with water and all your makeup is removed. Including waterproof eyeliner & mascara, HD makeup and much more. The best part of the Makeup Eraser is it is reusable, throw it in the wash and no stains remain. The Makeup Eraser will last 1000 washes and eliminate your need to buy product to remove your makeup.  The Makeup Eraser is pink with a sateen edge plush  and soft to the touch. Treat yourself to a spa at home everyday, while saving money!

The MakeUp Eraser is neatly packaged in a plastic bag, inside a really cute cardboard box, just like the old fashioned Pink Pearl eraser like many of us used in school.  What a dynamite advertising strategy!  😉  The MakeUp Eraser reminds me of an extremely soft baby blanket (I think they’re called Minky’s) and it’s about the size of a burp cloth.

The directions stated to wash the MakeUp Eraser before use.  Honestly, how many of us wash new clothes before using them?  I skipped the washing step since it was packaged so neatly and cleanly to begin with.  I did get the MakeUp Eraser  thoroughly wet with warm water as advised and set about cleaning my face.

I was amazed at how quickly my makeup was removed using the MakeUp Eraser.  With the cold, dry air this time of year, I normally remove my makeup with old-fashioned Pond’s Cold Cream and then cleanse with my Clinique Cleanser.  I don’t like using toner on my face, so I use this two step cleansing method instead.  So, with the MakeUp Eraser, I washed my face with JUST water, TWICE.

Makeup Eraser Before After with Eraser

Before and After using the MakeUp Eraser

I’ve always had VERY SENSITIVE eyes.  Removing my makeup is one of the things that tends to aggravate my eyes.  My eyes get goopy, snotty (yes, just like a nose!), and nasty.  This lasts all night and they get dried up and crusty from this reaction.  The morning after, I have to scrape the dried up junk off my eyelashes and away from both the inside and outside corners of my eyes.  I am beyond THRILLED to report that I had NO residual junk hanging around in my eyes like I normally do!  I’m looking forward to a peaceful night’s sleep without waking up due to eyes that are matted with junk.

Being the ever Doubting Thomas that I am, I still found it hard to believe that my face was really and truly clean without using any type of real cleanser.  I dug out some toner pads and wiped one over my face to find out how much junk I had leftover on my face since I only used water to clean my face.  Imagine my surprise when I had a totally clean toner pad!

So, without a doubt, this unheard of product called the MakeUp Eraser receives my full support.  Speaking of support, the distributor, Drea, is a stay at home mom.  Like many stay at home moms today, she is a work at and from home mom.  She has her hands full with an active toddler, an older child, and is juggling several home based businesses.  This busy mom is doing what she can to help contribute to her household, while staying at home with the little one, and moving frequently as an Army wife.  Drea has invested wisely with job opportunities that are as portable and as smart as she is.

If the need arises, please help support this wonderful Momtrepeneur.  Just click any of the links below to shop at her own online businesses, all of which I do personally recommend and support as well.  Pinning these images and sharing the post will also help spread the word about the MakeUp Eraser, which also helps get the word out about a fabulous new product that has the potential of saving a great deal of money for many women.  Make sure to follow Clean My Face on Facebook where you’ll learn about the latest sales and promotions.  FYI, there are some going on right now!
