I grew up in northwest Louisiana. When I was a kid in the 70s, cotton fields were all we saw in the area. We had a large cotton gin near where I lived. Many, many of the cotton fields have been turned into housing subdivisions and shopping centers. The cotton gin fell into disrepair many years ago and is now falling down.

So, needless to say, the Exposures Online Photography Throws not only pulls at my shutterbug side but at the heartstrings of my childhood memories.
