Not only does Dollar General they take coupons, but they also occasionally have their own circulars matched with coupons and issue their own coupons as well. Dollar General even allows you stack coupons! This means that you can use your MFG coupon WITH your DG branded coupon TOGETHER on the same item! Once you’ve printed all of your regular coupons (I posted a coupon ad below), go to the DG website, and search for DG coupons like this that have Dollar General in blue. Those are the type of coupons that will “stack” with your other MFG coupons. When these print they should say DG Store Coupon or something similar at the top instead of “Manufacturer Coupon” in front of the expiration date. Because not all employees are as familiar with stacking coupons, I advise you to print a copy of the DG coupon policy and take it with you when you do your shopping. It is just as clear and easy to understand as my directions.

$5 off $30 on Saturday

Make sure to give the cashier your $5 off $30 coupon BEFORE any other coupons. I’ve heard of some cashiers that will not take it off until AFTER your other coupons. This is NOT the correct use of their coupon! If there is a problem, report the problem to Dollar General corporate offices. The DG page on Facebook is also a great resource if you ever need to get some DG help or just to pass along a compliment.
