Babo Botanicals Replenishing Bubble Bath & Wash
As a blogger with US FamilyGuide, I was recently given the opportunity to review the Babo Botanicals Replenishing Bubble Bath & Wash. Although the product was supplied to me at no charge, all opinions are my own.
As a bath junkie with super sensitive skin, I am always anxious to try out new bath products. I liked what I read in the description, so I thought I’d give it a shot.
I love the sweet smell that fragrances my home when I run a bubble bath using the Babo Botanicals Replenishing Bath & Wash. There isn’t a distinct flowery smell, nor a cucumber smell. It’s the perfect light scent for almost every member of the family. My teenage daughter always makes a comment about how good it smells.
The first time I used it, I made sure that I followed the directions and only used two capfuls in my running bath water, as directed. I wasn’t thrilled with the lack of bubbles. However, as I continued reading the bottle, it was noted as a known “issue” because plant based bubbling agents are used instead of a synthetic formula.
My only other issue with the Babo Botanicals Replenishing Bubble Bath & Wash is the use of ingredients “from sugar” as listed. While I’m not a chemist, I would hope other ingredients could be used in place of the sugars. As a diabetic, I am careful of added sugars in my diet, so naturally I’m concerned about the use of sugars in my bath products. It also leaves a bit of a sticky residue if it drips down the bottle. Nothing major, just something I’ve noticed.
While I won’t say that my skin really feels replenished after using the Babo Botanicals Replenishing Bubble Bath & Wash, I will say that it does not leave my skin feeling stripped, dry, or tight. I also don’t suffer from dry, itchy skin later. I am happy to report that Babo Botanicals Replenishing Bubble Bath & Wash is one of the few products on a very short list of products that are safe for my skin.
