Hint-Hint:  This is a GREAT present for your child’s teacher for Christmas!  As a retired teacher, I can promise you that 99% of teachers would rather have this little crock than a mug full of candy or a Christmas ornament.  While those are both nice and thoughtful gifts, this little crock saves the teacher from warming up a lunch in the microwave at lunchtime.  This is time that most teachers do NOT have to spare.  If you have a wonderful, wonderful teacher you might even be allowed to send this with your child for his or her school lunch.  Most school lunches are carb heavy and this allows more options and versatality for everyone.  I personally allowed my students to heat up their lunches in my classroom microwave, but this may not be allowed everywhere.  I would rather a student heat up a lunch from home, which they prefered to eat instead of picking at the food on their tray served in the cafeteria.  Have a picky eater?  Ask, your school might allow it, especially if food allergies are involved!
