The goal of ABC Friday is to photo share with a challenge! Each week is a new letter theme, starting with A of course, we will work our way through the alphabet. I’m coming on board with the letter H. I may go back and add the other letters later on.
Just post a picture with the letter theme for that week…. A is for Auto, B is for Beach, C is for Cake….get the idea?

O is for…..Online Friends
One of my most special online friends is Kathy. Kathy and I “met” while in the forums of another website several years ago, but had never met in person. We’ve spent TONS of time online chatting and emailing. Eventually, I created my own site and Kathy helps me out on Facebook as a page administrator and in the Deals From MS Do Group. We’re both disabled teachers and single moms, so the limited income doesn’t allow for a lot of travel and we always dreamed of meeting one another, some day. Well, Day 2 of the Spring Break Road Trip was finally THE DAY! Coupon Kathy and I finally met in person. Yippy Skippy!
Many of my friends and especially my daughter refer to me as a hermit since I retired. MS is rough on the body and the nerves, so I appreciate my online friends so very much. They’re always there for me and keep my days from being boring while my other friends are busy at this thing called work. Thanks for being there for me, my dear Online Friends!

Yes, we were so excited to get to meet. 🙂 Our route took me a whole 5 minutes out of the way to make this happen. It was so worth it!
I was absolutely thrilled to meet in person too. It was nice for my daughter to meet a friend I talk about, and I enjoyed meeting your special daughter, too. There are a few people I’ve met online (of course you being one) that I feel really qualify for the term “friend”. I think we know each other better than some people who “see” each other regularly do. Hopefully something will bring us near one another again someday – you never know, we didn’t expect it this time. We’ll stay in contact and you will keep a special place in my heart, reardless.
Yes, dear friend, you certainly qualify for the title of FRIEND! My DD would love to go back to Louisville, so maybe one day! 🙂 So very happy we served as guinea pigs on that other site. 😉
